Synopsis
Prima la salute poi la produzione, questo il motto. Per i Tarantini è diverso: loro sono abituati a confrontarsi da un pezzo con i “Wind days”, giorni nei quali è sconsigliato uscire di casa poiché il vento, soffiando da nord-ovest, ricopre letteralmente “il Tamburi” quartiere delle città a ridosso dei parchi minerari dell’impianto siderurgico ex Ilva, di polvere rossa. Qui nessuno ha cantato dai balconi e i terrazzi condominiali, in altre città simbolo di rinascita, rimangono vuoti.
Durante il periodo della pandemia Covid 19 al Tamburi sostanzialmente nulla è cambiato: la gente è abituata a rimanere chiusa in casa e molto spesso senza avere la possibilità di aprire le finestre per arieggiarla perché il ferro in polvere è sempre in agguato. Pronto ad uccidere silenziosamente, lentamente. A differenza del Covid 19, però, non ci sono bollettini quotidiani per segnalare i morti di tumore a Taranto. Una strage: vecchi, giovani, bambini. Perché la produzione dovrebbe venire dopo la salute. Dovrebbe, ma non a Taranto.
