Synopsis
The second Sikh community in Italy is located in the province of Latina. The first Sikhs arrived in farming land Agropontino in the early eighties. Now the community is composed by about 7,000 people. High demand of unskilled workforce to be used in the agriculture has stimulated migration and convinced many Sikhs to stabilize in the area. A quiet and laborious presence compelled to live in a state of disadvantage: the heavy labor mistreatment.
